Frequenty Asked Questions

1. Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, a security deposit is required on all properties in case of any damage to property during tenancy. This money is held in a Tenancy Deposit Account on your behalf.

2. Will my deposit be refunded?

Your deposit will be refunded to you at the forwarding address you provide to us after our assessment of its condition against your signed inventory. Should we find the property not to be to a satisfactory condition we will deduct the cost to bring it up to standard and refund the balance to you.

3. What is an application fee?

It is a fee taken to secure the property subject to satisfactory references. This fee includes reference checking.

4. What references do you require?

We would require an employer's reference, previous landlord reference and credit check reference.

5. What ID is required before I can move in?

Proof of identity ie photo style driving licence or passport and proof of income ie proof of income current payslips or benefits received.

6. If I have repairs requiring attention who do I contact?

You contact us here at Hovepark, we deal with the landlord so you don't have to. It is our aim to have any problem you may encounter within your property carried out in a fast and efficient manner to make your tenancy as stress free as possible.
